Puerto de Indias
Puerto de Indias is a premium Gin produced in Carmona, Seville, in one of the oldest and most traditional distilleries in the province of Andalucia. The distillery was founded in 1880 on the site of a natural spring that dates back to Roman times. The distillery has now produced craft spirits in copper pot stills, using traditional techniques, for over a century.
In 2001, brothers, and successful entrepreneurs from Seville, José Antonio and Francisco Rodriguez Fernandez acquired the distillery and began to distil aniseed, fruits, and herbal liqueurs. In 2013, inspired by the avant-garde, valiant and innovative history of Seville, they ventured to challenge the status quo of the category and to inspire a fresh take on the perception of Gin. They also introduced and encouraged new, innovative consumption habits amongst new consumers. Their vision was to position Puerto de Indias as the Gin that changed it all by disrupting the traditional Gin & Tonic consumption occasion by adding flavour and accessibility.
